Sharks Shut Out of Luck

San Jose Sharks game in Detroit underway on October 22, 2016.

The last time the San Jose Sharks are to play in Detroit, they were shut out by their old rivals, the Detroit Red Wings.

The Red Wings and the Sharks go way back. They used to be Western Conference Rivals until the NHL realigned their conferences, which makes them part of the Eastern Conference now.

Tonight, their game was just awful. They continued to make the same errors that the Sharks are known for. Their passes where sloppy, their goaltender wasn’t on point like some nights, and they gave the puck away three too many times.

The final score of 0-3 doesn’t help the Sharks motivation as they finish their first road trip of the season. Defenseman Brent Burns lost his five game point streak after the Sharks were shut out tonight.

They will be back at the Shark Tank on Tuesday October 25th and will hopefully get out of their slump that night.
