Retired Numbers in the Bay Area


A look at what the San Francisco Giants Uniforms look like.

Every sportĀ has some retired jersey numbers and here is a list of retired numbers all for the Bay Area teams.

San Jose Sharks

At the moment, none. The only jersey numbers they have retired are the ones that the League has retired.

Bay Area sports teams will always have a special place in my heart.

Since I was born and raised in San Jose, I have been a fan of Bay Area sports teams my whole life. My mom was always into watching 49er games and Giants games so I always had someone to watch with. Player Profile: Klay Thompson


Klay Thompson is one of the players on the Warriors that keeps making them win and win again.

Klay Thompson was born on February 8, 1990 to the son of former NBA star Mychal Thompson. In 2011, Thompson was selected number eleven over-all in the first round to the Golden State Warriors. In 2014, him and Steph Curry were nicknamed the “Splash Brothers” because they set an NBA record of 484 combined three-pointers in one season.
