Klay Thompson was born on February 8, 1990 to the son of former NBA star Mychal Thompson. In 2011, Thompson was selected number eleven over-all in the first round to the Golden State Warriors. In 2014, him and Steph Curry were nicknamed the “Splash Brothers” because they set an NBA record of 484 combined three-pointers in one season. Him, along with the rest of the team, brought a championship back to the Bay Area since the 1970s.
These past few seasons for Klay Thompson has really proved what he was made for. He has set so many records, like on December 5, 2016 he scored 60 points in the first three quarters. That is Hall of Fame worthy especially since the last Warrior player to do so was in 1974.
Klay is one of those players that doesn’t get all the credit he deserves. Since he is on the same team as Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, key and hot players in the NBA right now, he sometimes get over shadowed but he has proved to many people that he is a force to be reckoned with.
